Guardian review of Ep III

Whilst I readily accept that might end up disliking Ep3 as much as Bradshaw seemingly already does I have to state that this guy clearly isn't even qualified to write a review on the film.

Nowhere is this fact more evident than in the paragraph where he takes enjoyment mocking the term 'Younglings' on the misguided basis that it was some carelessly unintroduced term. However, as we all know, this term was clearly mentioned during Ep2, so anyone who was even half paying attention during AOTC (a film Bradshaw claims to have seen!) would be more familiar with it than the reviewer in question.

As such his review isn't even worth the time he took to compose it.

It's odd how the reviews of star wars movies vary so drastically from paper to paper. I guess it must just come down to the fact that most people who go to see a movie with a history such as star wars have already made up their minds as to what they'll think of it.

I seen it on Saturday and it does have its faults but there are some great bits in it,ppl judge this film before they see it,it will never or never was gonna have the same buzz as 4,5,and 6. Thats a Given, but its full circle, its the end , not to sound like a chliche, Lucas Does Rap eveything up to be fair,im not his biggest fan but the acting is beter than the 1st 2 bar natalie portman, but she is so hot u think her cringful moment are acceptable, Hayden does get better, bot alot of ppl still think he is very ridget, Ewan i think gives a master class in blue screen acting. The final duel between Anikan and Obi wan on mustafar gave me shivers up my back, the bits of dialoue i mean, the passiona nd betrayel in Ewans voice is brilliant, i cud write all day andmaybe try review it but got work

Sounds Like Bradshaw Watched The Trailer & Made The Rest Up.
Personally Im Looking Forward To It & I Dont Think I'll Be Dissapointed .

Sounds more like people are in denial if they expected anything of quality from mr Lucus after the mess that was the first two films, the sign where all there.

personally i think the denial is part of the dissapointment which comes from realising that you'll never feel the same way about a film as you did when you were 8 or 9 :D .

episodes 4 - 6 (the classic trilogy) have hammy acting, stupid funny bits & ewoks they could be torn apart in much the same way as the gaurdian review.
but for people who seen them as kids when they came out (me included) they represent so much more.
im not in denial so many films are a let down these days i hardly evr go to the cinema.

yes there is some denail going on.

However i am keeping an open mind when it comes to this.
Just to see ti with minimal marketing and reviews is how i plan to read it.

i did read the above review, and the writer seemed more interested in ripping lucas to shreads, and went in looking for things that where wrong with the movie rather than watching the movie.

I'll be able to judge it better once i see it, but for now , i'm just waiting ... as i have been doing since EP2 was released.
