Yeah, It will be good to see him back. He has had a awlful 18 months or so. Only problem now though, was he not the first present team player who signed up with Sareholders United. Begs the question will he stay around now.

I'd love to see him play for United again, great to see that he's recovering as some though he wouldn't play again.

Some commentator said this in a game recently! Think it was Ian darke. I laughed for ages cos he didn't mean it as a joke!

You can hope he gets injured all you want, he won't.
He has been injured twice in his entire career :)
I dont need to hope, because I know he will score against your team in the last 10 mins like he always does :)
Best natural finisher in the entire game!

I beg to differ about him being the best natural finisher.

That title falls to someone like Ian Wright or Robbie Fowler.

Pippo Inzaghi (much as I hate the guy) might be in with a shout too.

I'd be inclined to agree, heard years ago that he only took up soccer aged 19. He was going to be a wrestler or something!

Think his dad was a professional wrestler.

http://www.prideofmanchester.com/sport/mufc-videos-players5.htm (Scroll to the Solskjaer video)
http://www.blogcn.com/user33/manutdtwelve/index.html (Its written there amongst all the foreign stuff)

Not the most reliable links I'll admit but I'm almost positive my brother has a Man Utd video with Ole talking about life in Norway and how his father was a wrestler and how he nearly became one too.

    I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it.

    Funny Quote:

Solskjaer quote about Barcelona 99: "When Teddy scored, I thought, yes! I'm going to play 40 minutes of a Champions League Final. That's going to be unbelievable."

I hate that (even when it's virtual money. ;) )
Amazingly Solskjaer trained as a wrestler. His Dad was Norway's Greco-Roman Wrestling Champion from 1966-71.

didn't check those links .. .but ... .greco/roman wrestling is different to professional wrestling.

did somebody say solskjaer is a member of shareholders united?

that would be classic if the players bought up 25% of the shares!

They'd have to buy up every share (other than Glazers) then, considering Glazer owns 74.8%. :)

i realise it isnt going to happen!

He is a member and patron of SU. I know footballers are well payed but I doubt he would have £250 million at a loose end.

The combined United team could probably buy the club

I would agree that he's the best natural finisher I've ever seen. Not the best natural goal scorer, that's different, but when given a chance he simply did not miss. If he had a bit more pace he could have been incredible.

    TRUE LEGEND

Nice idea but I reckon the concept of putting money INTO a club (rather than sucking it dry for every last penny) would be one too difficult for most pro footballers to grasp.

its strange i would have expected it of the likes of hughes, bruce, cantona, robson, stapleton etc. but the likes of rio? i doubt it.

what a player ole could be for us next year, if he got back to what he was it would be like a new signing.

im sure mr. glazer will be quick to point that out..

p.s. glad to see the support for ole, when i started this thread i thought it might not get the attention it deserved.

and as for whoever said i hope he gets injured.....classy
