How did people find it for those that did the first ones yesterday?
Had a go but found it very time consuming but kept getting interrupted by WORK :( .
Ended up sitting at home trying to finish it last night.
Can't see it taking over from the crossword.

It's a nice game. Pretty quick & easy if you approach it methodically and are v.careful not to put a wrong number down (much subsequent headwreck will ensue if you do!). Prefer it to a crossword anyway.

Apparently the puzzles are given free to the newspapers - to popularise the game, site and DIY software

As usual, The Indo only started placing Sudoku puzzles in its paper after they became popular in a British paper, The Times.

On a somewhat similar topic, has anyone ever noticed that the 'features' in The Indo tend to be very similar to those of the prior weekend's editions of the major British papers (The Sunday Times, The Guardian etc.)?

Note: This is not to be confused with content actually being licensed; I'm referring to content that has clearly been 'inspired' by other papers' content.

ya its a cool game alot better than crosswords imo, are you cheating if you use paper to help you remember numbers that wont fit, so its easier to eliminate them without having to constantly check them up again and again

Anybody interested in having a Time Trial competition for the different levels?
We put down our fastest time for each level (must be right though) each day?

also the indo claimed that they were the first in Ireland to introduce it, even though it had been in the Sunday Tribune the week before they first mentioned it.

that sunday tribune sudoku one was actually just an article about it and how it's "taking over the world", there happened to be a picture of a puzzle accompanying and yet to be completed, but it wasnt actually the first sudoku puzzle in ireland!
