What a fu**ing great gig the Revs played last night in Whelans. If you want to see how a gig should be played go watch these guys. You can see from a mile away that they absolutely love doin what their doin. I've seen them play many times mostly after they released their debut live album and they play with the same amount of energy and passion as they always did only now the material that they're playing is just gettin better and better. I for one cant wait for the new album. Keep up the great work lads.

I agree with everything you've said! They were incredible in Whelans and the new songs are really amazing, lyrically and musically. I can really see them becoming proper indie stars now with this new album (Dammahate? Great title!)

I see them live almost monthly and I've followed the progress of the new material and the way they've let them evolve and breathe is brilliant, whereas before, with Robert Stephenson, they would've been in the charts a week after writing :(

I advise everybody (especially the haters) to check them out over the summer!!! :D

I heard a story about them before. A friend of mine was in the pub, and a Revs song came on the jukebox. He immediately said "who put that s**t on the jukebox?", only to find that the three Revs were sitting at the bar and one of them had put it on.

That's a really stupid thing to do anyway. Putting your own songs on haha!

whats wrong with putting your own song on? (as long as its not arrogance)

i mean if you write a tune, chances are it means something to you, and you (should) enjoy it. I dont see any problem there, again as long as there is no arrogance. The major problem would be other peoples resentment, oh look at those ****ers, they think theyre so great.

Then again if you put it on for look at me, im cool, im in a band, then **** off!

i've only seen them twice, once in tralee before they were famous and a year later in killorglin after they were famous, i still think they are sh*t, but i'll give them some respect for making a living out of it.

The Revs are famous? When did this happen?

Revs live stream from last Saturday...it's a free open-air festival thing so they strayed away from the REALLY different new stuff...great nonetheless. Starts with an interview...the gig is about 5 minutes in.
