Prank Phonecalls

(not sure if this should be in after hours but...)

I was just wondering if there is any way to find out someones phone number if they ring you with ID withheld.

Some díckhead rand me the other night at 1 o'clock (which woke me up and I had to get up at 7 the next morning :mad: ) and started giving me loads of shít saying my number was in his gf's phone. he told me not to ring her again but wouldn't give me her name ("so how the fúck do I know who not to ring again" I here you ask. what a fúcken numbnut). so I'm taking it it was one of my mates acting the cúnt (or he would have gave me the name of his gf).

quick answer - no. Ring the guards etc but they dont put much effort in. This has been discussed a few times here, try a search.

By the way, this doesn't sound like a prank phone call and if you rang the guards id say they'll laugh in your face tbh

You think thats bad. I got a call at 5 am by a load of my mates at the same craic. I thought it was pretty funny though.

Yeah hate when that happens (although at least you know who it is). Not only do they wake ya up but they also remind you of what you could be doing (getting pissed basically) instead of lying there looking forward to another days work. Yeah, go work

Yeah we were at this one as well. Its a sound file on a phone and can be used to wind lads up to the hilt. Top notch fun if you can get someone who is highly reactive!!

I dont suppose the guy had an English accent?

Its just that one of my mates got a soundclip off the internet onto his phone, you ring people up and some lunatic English guy, sounds black with a London accent, rants for about a minute about how he has found your number in his birds phonebook, he knows where you live and if you contact her again oil focking kill you mate awrigh?

My mate was quite taken aback by my response, Id had a few beers and I told the caller (thinking he was real) where he could shove his threats, and even shouted out my address when he said "i know where you live sunshine"

"Really? Number X X road just in case you dont know"

I believe i also made some sort of reference to my sawn off

Mind you, i was fairly puzzled as to who this gobsh1te was seeing as I only know one girl with an English boyfriend, and I dont have her number

Heres an idea. How about turning you phone off before you go to sleep. Loads of people I know leave their phones on during the night. You can expect to be woken at crazy hours when you do that :rolleyes:

Try ringing your phone network people, I've a friend working in O2 and I think they have records of call transactions made to and from your phone

Prank calls rock - I turn off my ID and phone people with a cockney accent. Freaked out a few in my class by telling them what they were at all day as any decent stalker would do. Unfortunately, the word spread and now everybody expects the weird english guy on the phone to be me.......

I always turn off my phone at night. Saves battery. Avoids the above situation happening.

If there's a real emergency someone will get me on the landline.

Yes, I turn off my phone at night too. Most things can wait until morning. The best solution is to do that.
