Wireless Router and Accessing Connected PC

I have a wireless ADSL Router installed and can access the internet fine on both my Wired PC and my wirless Laptop (well, I have a few teething problems I'm trying to iron out). The problem I'm having is access shared folders between the PC and Laptop. I have both machines in the same workgroup but neither of them can see each other. They both get their IP's from the routers DHCP facility. Any ideas why they can't see each other? Thanks!

some windows firewall software can stop smb (the windows file sharing thingy) working. are you using windows XP? if not, make sure you have the correct things installed on the connections of both machines like 'file and printer sharing for M$ networks'
I found a mate had this crappy firewall (non-windows one) enabled and it just stopped smb working without even asking him if he wanted to allow the traffic
