    Hi
I've lost 10 lbs since February and need to lose another stone to achieve my target weight. I'm stuck at 13 stone for the past month and cannot shift it!! I've tried Apple cider 600 tablets to increase the metabolism but to no avail.
    Anybody got any hints??????

I assume you're already doing some of these, but If not then give them a go.

    1) Give up the booze
    2) Stop snacking on high fat foots (crisps, biscuits etc..)
    3) Never skip breakfast
    4) Drink lots and lots of water
    5) Excercise, excercise, excercise
    6) Get into a light weights routine

Generally the drink and the snacks will stop you from reaching your goal, but the rest play a big part too. :)

    Kevin.

What Kev says, plus: Eat more small meals a day (instead of 3 large ones). Eg. have something at 8am, 10:30am, 1:00pm, 3:30pm, 6:00pm etc. (instead of something in the morning, something at lunchtime and something in the evening).

    Eating regularly increases your metabolism.

    Thanks.........
From what you say I see where I'm going wrong!!

    I don't usually eat breakfast before I leave for work @ 07.15am.
I then usally have cereal, a scone and a cup of tea at 09.40am.
Do't eat again 'till 3pm when I have a sandwich and cup of coffee.
I try to drink water during the day but find it hard without running to the loo every 10 mins!!
I have dinner at about 6/7 pm.
I also go to the gym three times a week.

Any recommendations for a workout programme?
I have lost weight on my upper body and my legs but not my gut where I need to lose it most!

Pity. I'm stuck on 11.5 stone on my way to 13. If only trades were possible.

Lose the scone if you can. It's the worst kind of bread you can eat.
The water and running to the toilet can be a bit annoying, but it cleans out your system, which you will visibly see if you keep your water intake up. It also increases the metabolism, which is what you want.
Any instructor in the gym should be able to make you out a basic weights routine, just tell them you want to tone up.
Re losing the weight on the gut - You're just going to have to stick with it. You can't isolate weight loss to any particular area, it's all about body fat percentage. Hard graft will pay off eventually :)
