A review of my time on boards

AHHH, friends, co boarders, fellow posters, An historic moment is upon us. Yes the moment many of you thought would never come. Padsers 100th post.

Now i know there has been much speculation about what the subject matter on it would be. Well in time honoured boards tradition i will re cap my time on boards and tell you about the people iv met. BTW it was suggested to me that maybe i should i use the oppertunity to propse myself as a legend of the boards but i felt this was maybe slightly premature.

Now iv spent most of time on the LGB, mostly having heated discussions with the LGB members about the respective merits of our various opinion (not actually sure they think my opinions actually have merits but sure there you go) Iv met many people there, most of whom disagree with me, Stark the moderator with no french ability but plenty to say, Hmmmm Messigh - the ex theology student student who let me know how little i know about religion, Louville the hot head who quite frankly gets out of hand sometimes, and Damien m who i still dont know that well. I did have an ally however in moblieinfantry and together we stood tall against the forces threatening to end society as we know it. And we won the battle,,,,,and ultimitely i think we will win the war!!!

But i dont confine myself to the LGB boards. I also wander around, popping up for example in animal issues once, and recieving a ban for my trouble, not knowing that 'feeding trolls' is a bannable offence. (i would recomend though that someone who wants a laugh visit the thread entitled my gay dog in animal issues, started by banterville, ts very funny).

I have also visited the soccer boards but was disappointed to find that i need someone to 'vouch for me' in order to gain access to the soccer boards. so i put down all my soccer thoughts in the open forum there for asking for addmission. Still to recieve replies to that one though.

Iv also touched base with the tattoo's and piercing forums, and politics, and indeeed after dark where im a regular thread starter on what i feel are some of the most important issues threatening our society today.

Not to wish to confine myself i visited the mustard forum once as well and started quite an interesting debate on the merits of mustard vs ketuch.....a question still to be answered i must add.

Philosophie has also gained from some of my gems of wisdom and decartes quotes however i never seem to have the time to finish the philospie debates. My ramblings take elsewhere, or maybe im just out of my depth.????? Surely not i hear you say!!!!

I have been known to post regularyly on the poker forum as well, and myself and culchie seem to always be at larger heads,,,,,, i must invite him to an online game sometime.....then we will see who was right!!!!!!

and my final function is providing some much needed legal advice on some of the forums, mostly right here in after hours (possibly my favorite forum) :)

I do have a request however!!!! I started up a petition for paris hilton or the hilton sisters to become legends of the boards??? if any of you busy people can spare the time please vote them......THEY NEED YOU!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for reading my thoughts and ill report back on my 500th post here to let you all know exactly whats changed.

    FOR NOW

You were my only ally, in a debate that quickly seemed to turn into "us" versus "them", initiated by the rather stifling LBG mods and rabid supporters....

Anyway, I think you should be nominated for the best 100th post ever!

Cheers mobile infantry ....i might just go and vote in that..... as for you only human one of the posts i a couple of my posts are in your thread re your 'frail friend who was not so frail that he couldnt throw a shovel through a sheds window. He was then clever enough to go to who owned the shed and admit to it. Following that his friends were such good pals that they allowed him to dragged into the shed and beaten up. Its like a script for Fr Ted

    Em, well thought out??

A 100th post celebration could be a very bad tradition to be started... Imagine if everyone did it....

    a) i resent the implication that i had an troll account, my first ever post was under the name padser and it was in the rugby forum roulghly a month ago.

    b) also i did read the after hours charter and thats why i chose this kind of celebration of my boards existance. It was the type of one that i didnt think would get me banned!!!!!

Also to anyone who said 'who are you' please refer back to the first post in this thread for information on who i am or click on my name and choose 'find other posts by padser'.

    Cheers (B)

thats a bit harsh asking for me to be stoned and banned. I checked the rules and it says well thought out posts such as a review of your time on boards are acceptable. (i actually went to the bother of reading the charter b4 i wrote it.)

Do you think you could increse our post count to 150 posting in this thread alone?

I could remove it to the Cuckoo's Nest and demolish his post count in one fell swoop. That's fun.

great, iv always enjoyed birthdays!!!!!!! maybe its the pass the parcel or the rice krispie cakes but i just love em!!!!!

Yeah i dont think i could increase my thread count to 150 in this thread alone without spamming and i wouldnt want to spoil my own thread!!

BTW to everyone going on about getting banned for starting thread about post counts wouldnt that technically mean you would all get banned for 'feeding the trolll'???????

AH HA got u on a technicality

you'd be banned for spamming and not for trolling. Spam threads are typically accepted as free for alls where posts such as postcount ++ are common place. However you took advantage of the legitimate post count thread proviso and seamus has clearly accepted you did this in good faith.

You could even tell those helpful people to leave the moderating to the moderators.

But then he would start another thread when he reached 100 again. How has this not been locked already?
