    I've slaughtered and burned my way through most of the missions in DoW but the last level is, for lack of a better word, a real bitch.
    Any advice?

    Been ages sicne I played the campaign, but I had no problem with this mission. Up until the fight with the Deamon Prince I cant remember any especially hard bits, and when he arrives he's easy as pie, just send 3 or 4 melee dreads on him, and when hes bashing the dreads send in your commander and he falls in no time, didnt even lose a dread to him iirc.

    if its the mission i think it is, then its hard enough to gain a foothold on the map, once you do tho get a few resourse points out in front of you, swing around to the right and take all those. make sure u hold on to the relic closest to you and build a couple of land raiders, they take down the demon prince easy, not sure how many i had, may have been 3 or 4, can't remember.

    if i recall that mission was about trying to get dreads as fast as possible and once i'd a few of em the mission was as easy as pie,,, Preadators + Dreads slaughtering fun tbh :) (rather like Darkside)

    Yeah i had four fully decked out tac squads pumping lasgun and heavy bolter fire into him along with my commander and inquisitor toth smacking him repeatedly but my dreads only made it across the map to find their defiled bodies strewn about the place. the **** thing is i had him down to 6000 hp but as soon as he killed all my SMs he started to regenerate his health.

    you need to assemble your troops before you go for him... Build new satilite bases near the fight so they don't have far to come, use orbital bombardment to stop regenration between waves etc..

    I helped the Eldar get a foothold on the map. Letting them build up diverts enemy towards them, so you have more chance to build up your forces.

    I also found the Assault Termies very effective against Sindri. :)

    I never thought of that. I can't rely on them for them long though cos the eldar have an annoying habit of dying too quickly. But i suppose once they have all those fancy weapons researched they should be able to stave off annhilation long enough to help me out.

    the last level is easy. all i did was send in three full grown squads with heavy bolters and plasma rifles and two dreadnaughts. just run away from the guy and send your commanders at him. {but when he killed someone it was always a heavy bolter :( }
