let me guess 3rd year multimedia with colm dunphy (happiest man on earth NOT)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 744 ✭✭✭angry_fox

Yes, third year multimedia possibly the biggest let down since whole Star Wars: The Phantom Menace thing.

Colm aint to bad. He puts a lot of effort in and tries his best to help. But some assignments he has given us over the years brought to the edge of my sanity.

Anyway back to exams, arent they some waste of time? We should be judged on what we can create and what tools we use for the job. Not by learning off pages of s**te that we will never use again.

I have a fantastic study regime involving cramming all night before each exam while drowning in red bull and watching rocky movies to keep my sanity!!

    worked so far!!

I think im screwed. I failed miserably yesterday and I also failed the ca. Am I doomed? I could probably pass the repeat exam if I did some study over the summer but what about the ca? I doubt I could bring the score up to balance it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 947 ✭✭✭LanceStorm

For the IT students, how come we learned Java in 2nd yr, then when we got to 3rd yr it comepletely changed, none of what we learned for the whole yr was allowed, so what was the point!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 744 ✭✭✭angry_fox

Almost finished. This has been one tough year.

Incidentally, if I actually pass everything, I will owe it all to caffeine. That one molecule can acheive so much *sniffles*.

    there's such thing as de-normalization?!?!?!?!?!?

Denormalisation is the process of transforming normalised relations into un-normalised physical record specifications. This process can generate errors and inconsistencies and can force reprogramming of systems if business rules are changed.

Some load of tom cats p*ss

Ohh really! Are you working on any projects at the moment? Any genetic research? I tried to fuse a mars bar with a ham sandwich before, with disastrous consequences I might add.

What methodolgy did you use.....a microwave would have fused them quiet well....of course I wouldn't recommed eating the result :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,514 ✭✭✭Rollo Tamasi

Firstly I boiled a some water in a pot, then placed the mars bar over the rising steam to gently smoothen the outer chocolate region, I have used a microwave before, but I use my microwave for mixing cocaine with glucose, so that comes first to any culinary exploits!

Anyway I then toast the ham sandwich, and using a bread knife I gently rub on some of the mars bar chocolate! It's a work in progress at the moment!
I can send you out a sample if you would like?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭bp_me

I dont think a sample would survive the post somehow....where abouts in waterford are you staying....rofl....just so I know where to avoid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,514 ✭✭✭Rollo Tamasi

do you know the bus shelter on the mall?

    There.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭bp_me

Ur just a newbie. Ive discovered the secret to the merging off mars bar dna and ham sandwich dna. The results were shunned by the scientific community, i was laughed at, but i shall have my revenge, you shall all feel the force of the angry fox "evil genius laugh"

Yup, I finished there on Friday. Reckon I might be back in August for 1 of them depending on how it's graded.
