Number 3 and 4 are hardly romantic if you're over 18 really - are they?

romantic.. A park at about 8-10 on a summers night.. nice and mild as parks go I'd recommend a quiet corner of the pheonix park. it's such a great park IMO.. SO VAST..

Yeucch, it reminds me of my ex!

Ummm well I don't have specific places in mind, but it's nice to:
    1. Go to a nice restaurant
    2. Climb a hill on a spring/summer day, especially if it overlooks the sea
    3. Have a picnic in a field when the sun is shining, preferably not a field riddled with cow pats though
    4. Go ice skating in the winter
    5. Cook a really nice meal at home, especially if there's nobody else around

well anywhere beside the sea is good, walk along by seapoint and you can see all the swimmers braving the icey waters!

im actually 20 btw, and bowling and pool is really good fun no matter what age you are!

let's just make that Paris in general...but the Trocadero was particularly lovely *sigh* I want to go back

In Dublin, sitting in a park on a sunny summer day is lovely esp when you've no where to go and nothing to do but sit and enjoy each other's company and watch the world go by.

    do you mean the cinema?

how can this be romantic? or is there more up there now than just a multiplex?

personally as cinemas go I'd prefer the Film Centre(IFI) (possible vaguely romantic, well at least it has some character) or the Screen,

but would try to avoid the cinema, can't talk much there,

but up on the hill of Howth, now that'd be worth the Dart trip

My house/their house. Roaring fire, blankets on the ground, potent alcohol and a film that will never really be watched..... Mmmmmm......

if you're going to howth you'd probably be better off going up to the summit than the pier imo, the cliff walks give great views, the pier just smells of fish

Most romantic date I've ever brought a girl on was also Paris, the Moulin Rouge quaffing champagne. Has to be done. :)
