Ah dont be like that. Granted we have a poor backline but i think ye could get stuffed up front.Marcus to outrun Reggie by about a mile:D and once and for all show that Wallace is better than Gleeson:p

Munster will win by doing what leicester done, destroying leinster up front and not giving the ball to the brilliant leinster backline. How Leinster have so many fowards in the irish team is puzzeling considering their forwards performance against an ordinary bath side in the heineken cup. They also lack the mental strength of Munster. I'm not anti Leinster (was cheering for them against Leicester) but unfortunatly it's painfully obvious they give the opposition too much respect.

Munster to win by 8 pts
    C'mon munster

From what I saw that was a shocking call on Holwell which cost Leinster the match.

*dancing me* great match. Must say the ref was very poor all round not picking points just say he was not even to both teams when he should have been.

    Comiserations to Leinster,great game.

    What happened to Holwell?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,082 ✭✭✭Nukem

He punched/knee'd stringer on the deck. Thought it was harsh. Yellow would have done maybe, think Bryne needed a Red for the close line on wee pete though.

    Why was Holwell sent off.....?

Didn't see the incident but i believe that little prick stringer was involved

  • Holwell was sent off for rucking, simple as that, the touch judge deemed that his attempted ruck was actually a knee drop on the head of Stringer/Burke (a baldy anyhoo) and suggested a straight red. Shocking decision.

Also Quinlan is very lucky not to have been sent off, 3 yards in front of the ref, swinging a closed fist, red card is the norm.

Good match, poor ref.(And touch judge)

In fairness Stringer was playing it one the deck but Holwell did commit to an off the ball move

lets leave at that because he caused more throuble than he prevented.

Felt sorry for Victo Costello came off when they were winning.

Holwell was reportedly going to stay for some of next season and go home during the 6 nations...Pity Leinster didn't get to the final as there'd be more chance of him staying if we actually got some damn silverware.

    Yiz'd better whip Scarlets.

Just pissed off leinster lost to such a ****ing soft try....what the **** were we doing dicking a bout on our own line

Any chance of a description of what they did? Couldn't goto the match and don't have setanta.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,082 ✭✭✭Nukem

Muster scored two tries. Horan and Foley. Same as usual batter away the fringes until they got in. Foleys try was good from a point of view two players couldnt stop him, soft to say the least.

Leinsters try by Dempsey was sweet . Soft hands by the whole backline and a beatiful floated pass by Holwell.

    Rest were penos.

    Thanks for that.

Only place I could find updated was BBC but that was ultra-basic. Irishrugby.ie and friends are useless until a day after...Celticleage/cup site crap for live scores, Setanta's ticker just kept showing the kick off time.

    Any other sites recommended?

Although it made little difference an amazing try saving tackle by BoD, how the hell he flip him over at that angle?

  • there was a hint of a high-ish tackle there, but fair ****s, it was a good way of stopping a try!

Farewell and good luck to Victor Costello and David Holwell (who will be sorely missed).

Seem to move into a high tackle mid tackle I noticd but I don't think you can blame him with the body momentum but I'm only going on memory
