ALDI mountain bike €129

    Anyone know big a rider these will take - 19" is a very small frame for an normal bike or can you raise the saddle more on them.

    I'm sure the sadle can be raised a fair bit but I wouldn't reccomend buying one at all. Definately not for off-road use anyway.

    I got one last year and used it the whole summer i easily cycled 200 miles going from my gaf to UCD and mates and arround the place:
    good for small person,
    will do the job if you just want somethinbg **** to go less than a mile at anyone time as its too smaLL AND STRETCHING LEGS AT FULL IS A PROBLEM.
    The back suspension is ****e it makes you go slow,
    Geares aren't good enough.


    In other words good for a kid but for an adult its pretty bad and 129 would buy you an alright second had bike in B & S.

    anything with "full suspension" at that price is a false conomy at best

    Dunnes have a similar bike for €99...

    Still though, duel suspension at these kind of prices isn't really worth it. You're better off getting a rigid fram imo.
