I am sure that this is in the wrong place but I really dont know where it should go,

I want to set up a betting acount online with any company yet dont have acredit card, the only alternative is a bank transfer yet the mimimun deposit is €100 for lots of places,

Does anyone know some sort of way that I can pay cash in a bank or someplace and get a credit card details and number, just for the amount of cash paid.

I know Aib do something like that online but you have to own a credit card in the first place.

i'd say this will be moved to the poker forum soon...

    1. Paddypower allow you to put a minimum of 50 euro in your account through their shops

    2. The credit card available at www.3v.ie allows you 'to have a credit card, without having a credit card'. This is provided by Irish Permanent, and you can put a minimum of 20 euro in your account at each go. It is currently trialing around Dublin, and you can top up at a few Spar/Centra stores. However, you cannot put money in a gambling account using this, as they specifically block it.

    3. Giving that you posted in another thread about doing your Leaving this year are you legally allowed to gamble at your age ??!!

Ladbrokes have an account where you just lodge money (no credit card) in any shop using your membership card. The card also allows you to make bets tax free and collect/lodge in any shop. If you ask in any of their branches I'm sure their "friendly staff" will give you the details.
