Has anyone shopped in this place on Talbot Street. What are they like price wise? I was thinking of buying a leather trench coat from there.

    Cheers

Don't shop there, you know I heard that they use cows to make the leather for the coats. A man down on Boards told me so it must be true.

I pass the place nearly every day, they are often busy and have been there years, so once you are happy with the coat, go for it

Cows are also used for burgers, so don't shop anywhere that sells meat, or burgers for that matter.

Hi! I'm looking for a leather shop, which was located at somewhere between Earl street north and Talbot street in Dublin. Somewhere close to Dunnes Stores, which is over the street. At this time back in 2006 they have been sold leather jackets a hats and leatherbelts and other leather goods. I was looking in Google maps, but i didn't find this shop any more at Earl street.
    Is it still active?

It closed down many years ago I'm afraid.

Just closed, or just moved somewhere else? What is the name was that shop, i can't remember anymore? I bought from there nice Helium flight jacket and nice leather bleiser 2006. I was hoped to visit them again, when i'm coming back. But these are not a great news.:(

Ah! Mr Gear! Used to be my favourite shop in Dublin because of their fantastic range of leather wear. Remember going in there one day and coming out dressed from head to toe in black leather gear. Most of my extensive wardrobe of leather clothing was bought at Mr. Gear. It is a great pity that it has closed.

Is there any shop in Dublin at present that stocks a good range of men's leather wear?

I haven't been in Ireland for few years, thought visiting some of my friends this year and maybe get some fresh leatherwear from there. I bought from Mr. Gear about 6 jackets, and those are still in great condition. That's a pitty!
