Anybody know of some good places to train in either Sambo or Freestyle wrestling etc. in the city centre (dublin)? I'd love to join John K out in Straight Blast but its a little far out and the classes are on too late for me. Looking for an alternative.

MAybe one of the guys here will have some information about the Wrestling club in Parnell street.

If you're interested in doing SAMBO, I'd recommend you just join a judo club. Even the Russians are turning more towards Judo and away from SAMBO. Although, I've been told SAMBO will be in the Moscow Olympics. And I think, unlike other sports, you only have to be the best in your country to qualify (big only in some ways.).

    Oh,

On another point, since I'm still up, SAMBO and freestyle wrestling would be quite different. SAMBO is quite similar to Judo, were, FS wouldn't really be.

Just go back to Judo ya git.
