This guy is a terrible actor! Name one good film he was in... I mean that he was good in. The Jackal is on at the moment and the Irish accent is a disgrace. Fair enuf, most can't put on a good Irish accent but name a film where his acting is good. Also, I think most people have more than three facial expressions (unless they're botoxed to bits!!) :) !

Didn't he get rushed to hospital before with a gerbil (allegedly) shoved up his ass?

Pretty Woman would have been good with any auld geezer. His performance in Chicago was pretty wooden like in most of his films. Like loosen up man!

Well even if it did die, it'd have more expressions than Gere!

There was 'Unfaithful'. He was good in that. I mean if you were married to him, of coure you're gonna go off with Olivier martinez. He has at least 7 facial expressions and speaks with a french accent. So Richard was beilevable in that!

Thats the only thing i associate with him. So funny someone should bring that up. In fact, I was expecting this whole thread to be dealing with his anal exploits

Well the story is complete bullsh1t. Never let the truth get in the way of juicy gossip.

For anyone criticising Gere's acting abilities I have two words; Keanu Reeves.

I'm not much of a fan of the guy...

But he did a good job in the Mothman Prophicies.

Primal Fear, Officer and a Gentleman, Pretty Woman maybe Internal Affairs and Chicago, possibly a few more that escape my memory.
You don't know much about films do you?

The whole Richard Gere Gerbil story is apparently BS... but entertaining nonetheless!

Why do men hate Richard Gere so much? I mean, I'm a man and I hate him, so I'm not judging or anything, but why so much loathing?

Besides the fact that he's never been in a decent film.

For just a second I thought that said Mr T and the Women. Now that's a film I'd go and see.
