Following the successes in Dublin and Belfast RoadHouseMag.com is proud to announce their third showcase gig, which will take place in the Sugar Club in Dublin on May 6th. Maintaining the high standard of musical talent on offer at RoadHouse associated events (previous acts to play at RoadHouse gigs include The Urges, Channel One, The Rags, The Mighty Stef and Red Sirus) the Sugar Club event will see Jove, The Chakras, Driving By Night and The Delorentos take the stage. Also playing solo for the first time will be Tin the ex-frontman of now defunct garage outfit Tilted Tumbler.

The doors will be opened at 19:30 with opening act The Delorentos taking to the stage at 20:00. Admission is 8-Euro and the first 100 to arrive will be given a free CD featuring one song by each act playing on the night as well getting free entrance to the nightclub which runs late into the night. After 22:00 admission is 15-Euro.

The Delorentos hail from Dublin and play no nonsense rock and roll. This week they are featured in Hotpress magazine and recently played to over 1000 people in Dublin's Olympia Theatre at the Loud & Clear event. They are a fantastic band and are potential show stealers. See them take to the stage at 20:00.

Driving By Night are a Belfast based band. Their music is atmospheric and powerful and has been compared to acts such as the Smiths and U2. They are regularly heard on Radio Ulster's "Across the Line" and have played on BBC television. The take the stage at 20:30.

The Chakras were so good at RoadHouseMag.com's launch that we had to get them back to play another gig for us. They have recently released a single "Manipura" which was Produced by Leo Pearson. The Chakras are on at 21:00.

Jove are one of the most exciting and entertaining bands in Ireland right now and RoadHouse are extremely proud to have them headlining our gig. They are the masterminds behind the recent Loud & Clear gig which took underground music to the masses in Dublin's Olympia Theatre. They close the show and will take to the stage at 21:30.

RoadHouseMag.com was started in September 2004 with the aim of promoting Irish talent and helping the quality acts from these shores get themselves known to a wider audience. Each week RoadHouse interviews acts, reviews CD's and live events and advertises gigs while running a live news section keeping people up to speed with the going's on of the Irish musical underground. The reaction from bands, the general public and other aspects of the media has been very favourable. RoadHouse has been voted website of the week in both the Sunday Business Post and the Leinster Leader, is recommended by BBC Radio 1's Donna Legge on the Radio 1 website and has been featured in the Sunday World as "What's Hot!" for their 2005 New Year's magazine. RoadHouse articles have been reprinted on websites such as www.cpu.ie and www.fastfude.com.

With a base in both Dublin and Belfast RoadHouseMag.com actively tries to promote band's outside of their own locality. At RoadHouse's first Dublin gig Pocket Promise made the journey south to play in the Hub alongside The Urges, The Chapters and The Chakras. At RoadHouse's first Belfast gig The Rags, Channel One and The Mighty Stef shared the stage in Auntie Annie's with Northern acts Panda Kopanda and Red Sirus. For this gig Driving By Night will be making the journey down to Dublin to showcase their wealth of talent to the Dublin audience. We will continue to help acts play to new audiences and already have a number of summer shows planned.

Thank you for your time and support. If we can help you in any way or you can help us please contact us at roadhousemag@roadhousemag.com.

    Thanks,
Dec, Kev & Ciaran AKA The RoadHouse Crew.
