Here is something I came across here ; item No 40936.

It's a strobe, not a LED or bulb, non-rotating. Works for about 12~16 hours continuousy, from 4 AA battries. Magnetic base.
Not sure about the water resistance. But I would suspect the battery door and the switch are not suitable for Irish constant exposure to your average Irish wet winter.

However, these sealed ones are definitely waterproof.
