    Folks,

I'm not sure if you are aware of this video or not (its approx 9mb) but I came across this today and was completely astounded what these two students had produced. If you love Star Wars, you will be blown away by this.

I posted a quick article about it on my site. Head on over to http://www.avalon5.com and look for the "Art Of The Sabre" post. You won't be dissappointed.

    Great effort!

Only that I think they didn't get right was
when red gets killed he drops his sabre out of his hand, but it stays active!
. Ah well, such a minor thing compared to excellence of it in general.

That's actually more enjoyable than most of the sabre fights i've seen in the real thing.

Sad that really. It just shows the difference when it's being done by people who actually know what they're doing.

They're real light sabers. That's what I meant by they know what they're doing. They know how to construct real light sabers.

    pfffft

Very very good. I expected those guys to be film students or something, goes to show you what you can do if you put your mind to it.

if it's the video I think it is, yes it is very good, and I know the guys who made it (the link that was provided above didn't have a post in their forums for it, unless I'm just a total idiot... which is possible).

they actually tell you how they made the lightsabers glow (if it is the vid I think it is) at the end in all the fine print. They used some of the Adobe products to add in the glowing effects and the sound effects over the toy lightsabers they used (which they broke a lot of)

edit: nevermind I found it.. it is what I thought it was... and if your wondering, that was not a project for their school work, they were just bored the summer they did that (it was a few years ago, actually)

But wouldn't that imply that the guy in the clip had had sex with a woman?
