Safe to cut wet grass?

Hi, Does anybody know if it is safe or not to cut wet grass with an electric lawnmower? I was told that its best to cut grass when there is moisture in the air so it doesn't burn. Then I was told not to cut grass if its wet. :confused:

as long as you dont cut the wire and use a cutout/surge protector you are ok
