Tiger Family Pack

I posted in another thread about this, but I think it's worth another mention (unless Mods disagree).
Tiger Family Pack costs €200, why not share the licenses out? One copy of the media (big deal), and 5 independent licenses, that's 4 x €35 plus €60 to whoever gets to keep the box/original media.
    Anyone?
I'm not in a rush to upgrade my Panther set up if it costs me €130, but for €35/€60, I'd do it alright.

Family Pack Software License Agreement allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on up to a maximum of five (5) Apple-labeled computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that same household. By "household" we mean a person or persons sharing the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home or condominium. This license does not extend to students who reside at a separate on-campus location or to business or commercial users.

You can't do what you're suggesting.

OK, do you mean 'may not' or 'can not'? 'Can not' would seem a hard argument to make, it's not like the family pack checks for same subnet or anything. If you don't want me discussing what I 'may not' do, then I'll be happy to shut up about it :->

I still think it's a good idea, I'm not overly enthused about paying that kind of money for an incremental evotionary upgrade, for features I don't think I'll use.

    Ok, I'll be good now.

Tried to get a copy of the Family Pack on Friday in O2 and also 3G, Henry Street, Dublin. They said it hadn't shipped with the single user one. I walked away with the single user licence in any case.

You'll be breaking the licence if you do what you are suggesting.

    Then why bother upgrading?

Also 5 random people are not family, so you don't qualify for a family pack.
What you want is a 5 random people looking to buy a cheap licence pack.
