    Hardly surprising since this was a "Wall-Hanger" decoration or "Sword Shaped Objects" as the blade purists call em.Rat tail tang,dodgy tempering,if any,of the steel,it it is steel yadda yadda.They are for hanging up an leaving well alone,that is all!
    If you want something to swing try an oak Bokken or a baseball bat!
    As for TMA vs. MMA??? A live steel Practical Plus Katana from Paul Chen or a hand and a half Bastid Sword from Caseberia or Angus Trim would matchstick the table or have reefed anyone touched with it's edge.A real sword is a seriously dangerous weapon and can be messy if mishandled :)
