i'm looking to dye my hair bright pink. the only problem is that all the pinks i've found are wash out colours. i need something permanent to save having to constantly touch up my hair. anyone have any suggestions???

i used a colour called smart on mine. it was a hilyting kit. twas pernament.
however i wouldnt recommed you do it. pretty hard to colour over and im still known as the pink bitch.
id recommend you go with the wash in wash out ones first, and no harm done if you get bored.

If you go to a hair salon they should be able to mix you up a permenent pink colour otherwise you could get a semi-permanent pink called Crazy colour available in most hairdressing supplies shops!

Theres a place on abbey street just down from supermacs called Terrisales. They do hairdressing supplies but you don't have to have a Vat number to buy stuff there. You could check with them.

    Don't think thats quite right...

Anyone can buy anything at the front of the shop but only hairdressers can buy from the back and thats where all the dyes are...

You could try colour shot, i think thats permenant, not sure tho

Yea i get mine in Terrisales and im not a hair dresser??
the Crazy colour costs 7 euro a bottle but in a salon to get it done reckon your talkin anywhere from 60 to 100 pending on the place you go! But im not sure bout that cause i just do mine myself much cheaper ;)

In Regards to washing it i actually rarely wash mine but im a guy so doesnt really bother me! But if your gonna wash it regularly get the special shampoos that keep the colour in!

A full head of pink would be wicked so definitely do it!!

I'v had my hair pink numerous times and I recommend bleaching it first (I always colour my own hair) and then use whichever dye you've found and I find Loreal Elvive the red bottle is good for coloured hair, use both the shampoo and the conditioner.
    have fun! I always do!
