I recently got a U.S telecaster body and neck, and since I already have a U.S tele im looking at doing somethin a bit diff to this instead of pratically having 2 of the same guitar. Can piezo's be gotten for a tele? Anyone any other ideas?

Tremelo sounds like an idea! Whats installation like with that (routing wise etc)? I remember seeing one that didnt need routing, just a plate under the neck to raise it to the level of the trem, unfortunatly it was like 250 sterling! (actually checking the price of the kahler its $325, not much different)

The kahler needs you to route a reasonably shallow square shape from the front of your guitar. You then just bolt it on afaik. If you're using a trem, a graphtech nut and locking tuners are recommended.

Came across this http://stetsbar.com/Telecaster.htm . Seems good, only thing is I couldnt use the graphtec saddles on it :( . So I Think im just gonna sand off the finish and leave it natural (does anyone know if a natural finish can just be sealed, or should it be laquered), add a Lindy Fralins pickup set (with a wooden pickup cover for the bridge), wooden scratchplate and the graphtec piezo's, hopefully it'll be nice :)

I am sssssssssssoooooooooooooooo getting that! The extra sounds will totally justify having another tele (not that I need justification to add another guitar to my collection, just everyone else in my house does)

You can lacquer over natural as long as you apply a sanding sealer first. Perhaps look into a wax finish?

Wax could be done, prob easier than laquering aswell. Where is good for supplies here? everywhere I look seems to list american brands that they wont ship here!
