    at the very least you shoukd remove all your contact details until you get the advertising fee paid.

    The only way you are allowed to advertise is

    1) Through your own private forum
    2) Through paid advertisements in the form of banners on the top of each page, and the homepage.

    Open up a HelpDesk ticket with regards to ads

    Can you do it? I think you just did.

    In other words, read the forum charters carefully. They're usually pretty good as spelling out what is and isn't allowed. And if you violate them the smackdown is usually laid on your ass so fast you'll be a long time forgetting what you're not allowed to do. Usually.
