The reason I am asking you is rather sad actually!!! So Please dont take the piss!!

I want to hook my XBOX and PS2 to my external cable modem so I can get them online. (dont laugh)

I have too many cables going on in my room so I was thinking of going wireless. I have been recommended the Linksys WRT54G wireless router. So I would be grateful of any feedback on this.

But to get the consoles connected I will need an adapter, I was looking at Linksys Game Adapter WGA54G. Anybody using this or have experience??

    Thanks

I have one of those routers and it's been blinking and flashing for months now with no problems. It's also very easy to use. The game adapter thingy sounds cool. I havent used one but I'm sure its okay since it's designed for consoles, best google for some reviews though first and compare it with Microsoft's own wireless adapter

I use the Netgear - WGE101 802.11g 54 Mbps Wireless Ethernet Bridge to connect my xbox to my D-Link Xtreme G DI-624 Wireless Router and have had absolutly no problems, my brother has the D-Link DWL-810+ Enhanced 2.4GHz Ethernet Wireless Bridge for his xbox, I would recommend either of these adapters, but if you are looking fot the fastest connection between your xbox and router try to get the same series product form one manufacturer, it helps if all of your components are from the same maker. I never had any linksys gear myself but they are supposed to be quiet good, check out reviews on the likes of amazon.co.uk.
