Car Servicing in D24

    Wife's car has an NCT test coming up on the 7th. Any suggestions on where to get in serviced in the Firhouse/Tallaght area. I know its a rip off up here compared to down home (Wexford) but we won't be down before then.

    The last time I got it serviced up here, I thought it was a grand job and from a fairly reputable garage in Tallaght. A few months later the thing went on fire and had to be replaced. The insurance and VW confirmed it was due to a plug cover not being replaced during its service and the friction on the journey caused sparks and then fire which while traveling fron Wexford (with the kids) was put out by the air current. Once she got here and came in to get me to bring the kids in with her it started to go up, soem fright and quick action needed to get them out.


    Anyway, rant over, thoughts where to get her current car serviced appreciated.
