    does anyone have this phone...
    are you able to get real ringtones on it
    been reading up can't seem to get a straight answer
    through voice record or by software?

    You can use any MIDI file and there are free programs for converting MP3's to the special SE format (.amr).

    The phone has bluetooth so use FLOAT to send them to the phone.
    You can also backup pictures/sms etc, load new (free) games etc with FLOAT.

    Best phone I ever owned (except the P800).

    no u can't get real ringtones on it cos mostly theycomein mp3 or wav format.. u can record straight from a speaker or whatever but it doesn't sound great with songs..works well with speech tho.. and u can't use amr's (thats the format the phone usess for recorded files) as ringtones or as a message tone... and renaming them to midi files doesn't work either...maybe a firmware upgradeor something in the future may have this feature but not just yet
