Problems at N7 at Johnstown and Kill?

    Hiya,

I am currently in Kildare town but need to go up to Dublin later on this afternoon. Was just checking AA Roadwatch for the traffic conditions and the following is posted up there:

KILDARE: Gardai have restricted access from Johnstown, Kerdiffstown and the Sallins Rd onto the N7 to assist with traffic flow on the dual carriageway. There is no right turn onto the carriage way until further notice. Traffic coming in from both directions to Johnstown and Kill is very busy.

Anyone know what the story with this is? Was there a bad accident or is there a problem with the traffic lights? The AA's web-site don't give any indication as to when the situation might clear up

    Thanks!

I came that way this afternoon from Johnstown and the traffic lights had been hit and flattened earlier in the morning and then a lorry lost its load there later on. All traffic from Johnstown was not allowed take a right turn out and had to go into Naas and back out. It shouldn't effect you too much but may be slower than usual.
