My sister is off their working in May. Was asking if I knew much about it. Anyone any suggestions of places to go, things to do. Is it cheap?

I hope she's not blonde and pretty, for if she is, she's gonna get a hard time for the local gents who can't seem to resist such a prospect. Was there last year with my gf - it was a full time job fending them off.

Cheap? Reasonably. Good italian pizzaria on the corner of main square, she'll locate it quickly - it's likely where she's satisfy her western culinary demands in the absence of many other places where it's possible.

What, may I ask, is she going to be working at in Havana?

That's the one profession I didn't expect you to say. Health is one of Cuba's strongest areas - they even export health professionals to Venezuela in return for oil! Good for her though.
