linksy wireless router keeps losing my connection

    I've got a wireless network at home and its mainly for my main system and my laptop ...but every so often it drops my internet on the laptop and the main system even though the main pc is connected through the wired lan port ...i have to keep pulling out the power cable on the router and plug it back in ...it happens any time between a hour or a couple of hours it's begin to p1ss me off ...any help here would be great ...thanks

    BTW its a linkys wireless WKPC54G ....its this kit here

    Is it using the latest firmware? I've had problems with other routers like that and the latest firmwares (even BETA versions) usually fix it.

    There's a thread about that model (amongst others) on the BB forum.

    I had an identical problem last week, which I put down to the speed change, and increased noise on my line. I updated the firmware to a beta version and the router has been up solid for 4 days now (touches wood).
    Nothing worse than the f**king router rebooting when you're on the laptop :mad:
