Imac g3 question??????ASAP

Right my uncle has a g3 imac 233 i am presuming the os is 8.1 now he wants to get braodband and its says min spec os should be 8.6 the hardware spec is ok?how would be go about making the os compatable or will it work anyway?

If the internet provider he's going with supplies an ethernet modem/router, then i don't think he'll have problems. But i can't guarantee that 100%. If its a USB one, you might indeed have problems.

Ya he was going with Eirom that is a router the g3 has a ethernet port too.
