Does anyone know if you can use an ISDN modem to dial up on a normal phone line? I.e. not get the advantages of ISDN, rather the ISDN modem functions as a regular one.

Someone I know bought an ISDN one by mistake, and they want to see if they can get it working before returning it

    thanks

Sorry, not that i know of.

ISDN is a pure digital line and the modem would convert the signal for that.

He will have to try and get a refund.
