not sure this is the right board for this so feel free to move it but just wondering what is the best local band gig you have been to?
My ex's band Fatal Addiction had a gig a while that was bloody excellent. Aside from them being a good band the stage was also wicked cool, they had skulls of horses and bulls placed around the stage which was sorta draped with a black curtain. Throughout the show they had a mix of blood red and black lights streaming over them. For the finaly they smashed a guitar across the stage (dont worry the neck was slightly warpped) but just the effect of everything was brilliant!

The Swarm in The High Stool, Limerick. Mick the guitarist kicked some guy in the chest for knocking a cable out of his pedal. The singer also threatened to rape some girl in the crowd who spoke out against them between songs about their lyrical content.

They havent played in a while, but im awaiting their return! One of my housemates works with the singer.

1st sounds fairly cool, 2nd band sounds like knobs. hate bands that abuse ppl in the crowd idiots in my opinion. and has for threatening a girl with rape....need i say more????????

ive seen that many bands at this stage i really couldnt pick out an absolute fave altough Republic Of Loose (back when they were johnny pyro) would come fairly close for both show and music

this post shows the sad mentality of some people who believe that threatening rape is in any way funny !!!
