VGA out to WHAT?

I have a laptop with VGA output only and want to hook this up to a tv.... How can i do this? I've been looking into VGA -> RGB / VGA -> Scart. Anyone any experence with doing this (where to buy converter cables etc.)?

to convert vga to rgb - you need a scan converter, something like this . Although bear in mind the trust ones are supposed to be sh*te.
The vga out is generally designed for plugging into a monitor or projector. Most laptops these days have an s-video out. Thats a better way to display your laptop screen on a tv.

I have heard of custom made vga to scart cables - which are supposed to be cheap enough to make but I've never used one
