Sty in the Eye

    Recently I've developed what they call a "sty in the eye". Seems to be a build up of skin just to the side the eye nearest the nose. Pic attached (dont worry, its not gross)

    Wondering if anyone knows of a way to get rid of it? I have not gone to the doctor yet, and would prefer not to unless it really is the only way to get rid of it. Its purely a cosmetic matter - it doesnt impede me whatsoever.

    Well when I said recently, its really been there for a few months now - so waiting for it to drop off isnt working
