    Greets,

My blog is called "Howl @ The Moon!" (http://www.avalon5.com) and it is powered by some fantastic open-source software called WordPress - which you can get at http://www.wordpress.org

I can't recommend this free software highly enough for blogging; it's all PHP/MYSQL based and very extensible, especially when you consider the sheer amount of plugins (150+) and themes/templates (200+) currently available for it.

Go check it out if you are interested in getting a blog online with relatively no fuss. In fact, the default install is only 5 mins.

well - I'm getting the hang of it ;)

If you need any help or advice on Wordpress - just get in touch with me on my site. There is also a fantastic amount of support at the official WP1.5 support forums (http://www.wordpress.org/support).. so you can't go wrong.

I'm not a coder or developer, so when I say getting WP up and running is simple, I really mean it. The minimum of basic HTML or PHP is required for any theme customisation, but other than that - it's a piece of piss :)

Good auld software it is. When I first set up a site I have Fantastico which has a good few blog packages ready to install. Of all of them (including b2, b2evolution, Nucleus, pMachine, Wordress) Wordpress is definitly the best I found

yup, it's a pretty nice piece of software allright..
i have mine working with "gallery" and it really is a doddle..
although the one the plugin that i can't get working is the "mood vrs currently listening to.." ..which i find is a nice feature that i don't want to miss out on.
(it should be there in the firstplace!)
