I doubt you will do much better to be honest! Personally i would pay a bit more for a small table top fridge from power city.. thats what i did a few years ago!. Holds more than 6 cans of coke :D

Well i'm in college and to stop my beer getting taken from the house fridge i thought it'd be a good idea. Anyone have one? any idea how many cans it will hold? it says its 11L but the dimensions i'm sure prevent it from holding 22 cans!?

In answer to this- the fridge is badged "Budweiser".
The cooling element is built into the back wall of the fridge, instead of the floor, where most of the portable fridges have theirs.
    Capacity 3 X 500ml cans, or 3 X 333ml bottles.
Capacity is crap to be honest- as the back wall is so thick.
Its only 39.99- yet the stack of them in Dunnes in the Stephen's Green Centre doesn't seem to have diminished any over the last few days......

I got one for 25 euros before christmas (one of the Pound type shops in Blanchardstown) - probably the same, but not bud badged. MiniFridge Cooler - switchable from stay Hot to Stay Cold, 12V or mains.

Sounded good - but fairly noisy fan in back, constantly wirring - not suitable for a sleeping room.

Like ozmo said, they are very noisy. There's no way you could sleep with one in your room. You could just turn it on an hour before you start drinking tho. I usually just put my cans/bottles in the freezer for 15 mins if they're warm. Save your 40e I'd say.

Did the same myself think it was 150 euros in Power City. Well worth it. Keep it in my bedroom, not noisey at all. Hold loads. Even has a little icebox you can make ice in - a regular min-bar fridge. When I build my bar I can use it there!
