    1. Don't know who actually named it, but I do know that the words comes from the Old German word erda (or, as some people believe, from the Greek word Era).

Who called it 'Earth'? I don't know, but I bet Google does. Ask Google.

As to the swearing, that's an interesting one. Swear words come in and out of fashion (women reportedly swooned when Clarke Gable said 'Damn' in Gone With The Wind), and yet for several hundred years the was a 'Gropec*nte Lane' in London, apparenty a hang-out for prostitutes. How it happens, I don't really know. 'Sh*t' is almost like 'damn' now, it's hardly considered at all offensive these days. It's a funny one, alright.

Is it possible to influence mood through use of ultrasound or infrasound?
Do plants possess any degree of self-awareness? Do they feel pain?
Do humans really gather (unknowingly) at ley nodes, and does this lead to evolution and higher brain function?
Is it possible to transfer memories, and therefore consciousness, between organisms?

Why does every guy in the world except me find lesbians a turn-on? Do not get that. I mean, here is a woman who, pretty much by definition, will never, ever want to jump your bones. Ever. Phwoooar! Gets me real hot. I haven't got a prayer... oooh, baby...

Most obvious explanation is that two (hot) lesbians having sex is sexier than a guy and a girl cos:

    a) there's no guy
    2) there's two women

Anyway, don't you ever have the urge to try and 'turn' them? ;)

Generally when I'm off to sleep, I just don't ask myself any questions, that way, they can't keep me awake?!
You should try it sometime, it works!
