    Blows away our goal difference, - puts them 3 points behind us with a game in hand. If they win their next match (which they surely WILL - it's Andorra, Estonia or Cyprus again, ffs!), they'll be drawing with Ireland on points and ahead on goal difference.

    Even before I saw the portugal result I was wondering why nobody was complaining about our lack of goals. 2 goals early on have to mean we should be dissapointed we didn't get more. Second in the group is our only hopw now I'm afraid.

    i was in a toiilet in Dublin after the game and an irish guy asked a portugese fan what he thought of Dunne and he replied "Too FAT" It was hilarious.

    g'wan outta that... I've been going to the Ireland home matches for the past 2 years ... Babb was well known for a long enough spell as "Fall-over Phil" because of his tendency to ... well - to collapse at the slightest sign of a challenge... yeh wouldn't see the Honey Monster doing that!
