    dont mean to sound grumpy as its not me! ;)
    but everytime i seem to get somewhere by getting people to start up a new band i never hear from them again and it always fizzles out before we even get going!! even though they sound enthusiastic about it at the beginning...
    anyone out there that wants to start up new band and actually follow through with it? :)

    You're missing out the fundamentals of what style of music you'd like to play, where you're located, how many people you're looking for, what instruments you'd like them to play... the list goes on.

    This kind of information might help.

    i have already put up one or two ads explaining what im looking for and people reply and say yeah lets do it then i never hear from them again!

    I don't play, I sing!! I do play a lil bit of guitar and piano but not very well!
    Into the Killers, Snow Patrol, the Start, Dusty Springfield, Blondie, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Interpol, Jesse Malin, Old School Greenday, Nirvana, Hole, etc etc etc. Like some poppy/classical/opera etc too but I mainly revert to indie/rock type stuff. What kinda stuff do ya wanna do? What u into?

    hopefully, rock/indie stuff. the killers, franz ferdinand, lenny kravitz, ash, no doubt.etc...
    how old are you?
    may try set up jamming session soon in town, would you be up for it?
