Beck and Weezer tickets in the bag, nothing else really grabs me. REM and Zutons the week after too, looks like being a pretty good month!

Beck and Hives tickets got. Might go to Echo & the Bunnymen and the La's too...

The Hives were great in The Ambassador a while ago, performance wise, so much energy.

So many clashes on Mon 6th and Tues 7th! But probably Beck on Mon and The La's or British Sea on Tues. But then again...

    i dunno if it's a error but

    http://www.ticketmaster.ie/artist/766591/

still says weezer are on sale, which is odd as it was sold out yesterday

    wa hooooooooooo just got two

its strange how that site works sometimes it sais its sold out but the kiosks have them and vice versa

    ticketmaster shower of w$$kers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,135 ✭✭✭✭John

I think they have different pools of tickets. Some are allotted to the kiosks and then others are allotted separately to the website, so while one pool may be sold out the other may still have tickets. Also, when the tickets are sold to third party dealers like Sound Cellar they count as being sold, so the gig may be technically sold out but shops may still have tickets.

Am quite upset. Was originally going to be away for weezer, but holiday has been changed, I gleefully clicked onto ticketmaster to purchase tix only to see that their sold out. Cue long howl of anguish. My boyf would REALLY love to go.

I bought tickets for The La's. I have two problems with this however.

    1) I might not be here on the 7th June.

    2) It might be like watching a band relive former glories, and take away from the legend that is 'The La's'..

So I don't know if I'll go. If I don't, I'll probably post them for sale on Boards closer the time..

    K.

The La's may fail to relive former glories but then again they may be great
