    what y'all think of my weird sound was tryin to capture a spacy effect for ages and think i've nailed it.. sorry bout the bad playin and recording :o

    The phaser/flanger was a bit too strong for my liking. For my spacey sounds, I like lots of chorus with loads of delay (but not too long) running through a filter (set a wah pedal at a certain position and play).

    yeah i use that idea too but wanted to get away from that.. the idea was just to play one strum chords over a drum and bass line with a volume pedal but i couldn't do that without a drummer and a bassist so i just messed around... i like the delay around 360-400ms gives a good drifting feeling... or if i'm feeling funny maybe down towards 102ms (ish)

    I usually set my delay the same way I set my women - play with the knobly bits til something good happens ;)
