Computer froze when posting message so here i go again...

    drink lots of water, LOTS

start at basic levels at any exercise and build up gradually - best to lessen injury chances/being put off going back!

avail of membership free assessment if u have one - sets targets, identifies strengths and weaknesses, etc - personally tailored, everyone is different
if no freebie, ask staff anyway or pay for one assessment

don't mind the super-athletic ones wearing out the machines - they are not on day 1 !

cut down/give up cigs - they really are toxic for the body, your body will thank you if u give em up
    and cut down pints

    good luck

Thanks smileygal. I'm just going to The Y in Aungier st with a mate who is as unfit as I am. The reason being I started an office job in September, and I've gone up two sizes since!!!

I plan on working on a balanced diet next.

good to go with a friend, and one who's not an Olympian!!

hope your office doesn't have a chocolate machine - vital but deadly!
