I have enough models to make a 1500pts DA army but i keep losin interest in painting em. has anyone else felt their interest in GW slipping slowly away? i have my LC this summer so i obviously don't have the time now but after june i've promised myslef that i'm gonna get back into it. thats if all the drinking and working furiously to pay for holidays etc doesnt get in the way.

I know what you mean. I still love the background and the models, but I haven't painted anything in the last year or so. Still buying stuff tho...

I get bored painting base troops usually, but a good way to keep yourself interested is put a bit of time into them, painting 10 troops basically is just a chore, but putting some effort into them and adding some charecter too them makes them far more fun to paint, and they look a hell of a lot better in the end up.

you and a few mates should organise mini campaigns or tournys every month or so. My friends switch from 40K to BB to boardgames to heroclix and such- change is good and keeps everyone interested with new games and ideas and not "not that fu*%in eldar list" etc... even small 400pt doubles tournys such as this one that was on in other realms in cork. http://twinlinked.tripod.com help you paint up units that you dont normally use.

Haven't got any mates into GW at all. In fact only about 10% of my mates know i'm into the hobby, which is 0.5 people :D
