Sorry, it's very difficult. I have a Zoom 606 and it's still hard.

I'd suggest playing around with the Peavy distortion and Fuzz Distortion.

For the tone he uses in a lot of songs, I bought another pedal Nobel Overdrive. Works okay with some of the Zoom stuff.

That seems to be a popular question. People are always asking me to help them get a Jimi Hendrix sound out of their equipment. However, most of the time the problem is that they cant play any that even resembles Jimi Hendrix, so no amount of effects is going to help.

I know a session guitarist who has a mexican strat a 505 a cry baby, and a solid state amp who could solo very Jimi-Hendrixy. But he (or she now, dont ask) was an amazing guitarist so it figures...
