Everton have take the lead after 7 mins. A free kick from just outside the box from arteta after the palace keeper handled the ball outside his area. Ref jibbed it by not sending him off. Booked him instead.

They are playing well ok. I am watching it and can tell you that palace could easily be 4 or 5 down

Along with Rooney and Jeffers would that the 3rd Everton player to have that honour?

Liverpool the city has lots of young forwards as always, dang them

    Come on the blues.

it was a must win game and they did it in style... altough the first half performance was appararntly pants.

Imagine the scenario...evertkn, liverpool and bolton can all qualify for the CL on the last day of the season with everton to play bolton.

boy is it gonna be close.

Yeah, makes the premiership a little more exciting, who will get 2nd? Who will get 4th and who will get 17th?
    I like tension :)

i dunno if jeffers had it did he? there wasn't a big deal about it anyway.

    just read this on bluekipper.com
Now I don't want to build this kid up, but apparently he has more about him that Ronaldo, Pele, Georgie Best, Gazza and Rivelino all put together, but lets not put any pressure on him.

Kilbane laid it on a plate for the kid, and for Cahill's second. :)

Good win for Everton, keeps the blue side of liverpool happy and brings CL football closer to them, if they qualify it will leaves with a nice kitty for the summer, he must have 20 million to spend now at this stage.

Had spurs in the TodayFM accumlator, 100 yoyos better off :)

Zinedine actually had a fantastic game. The run up to the assist for Cahill's goal was spectacular. And the pass to let the kid in, well, I doubt he's ever gonna have an easier tap in.

I liked Frank Skinner thoughts on Gravesen leaving to go to Real Madrid. He reckoned that when he was at Everton himself and Carsley were like the Mitchel brothers from Eastenders terrorising the premiership. But just like when Grant left to go to Spain Phil wasn't half the the terrifying force he once was and with Carsley warming the bench there's some similarities!! :D

I haven't seen him play but what i've heard leads me to believe he's no rooney, but we'll settle for a 2nd jeffers, a bargain at £9mil anyone?

bluekipper.com is the place to go for biased reports, and nuggets from "my-mates-dad's-brother-in-law has it on good authority that everton have lodged a £80 billion bid to buy all of chelsea's players" sort of stories... some great scouse asides...
