Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right place but I want to know if there is any1 who knows of any good animation programs for making cartoons, I used neopaint back in the day but that's a bit dated now. I'm looking for one that isn't 3d, and I dont mean programs like flash and stuff like that. Any help would be appreciated ;)

thank you but no, that's geared towards small displays like mobile phones etc. I want to play the animations in Windows media player etc. at normal sizes

Have you every played Civ3 or Alpha Centauri? Both run at 1024*768. Both used ProMotion for production. ProMotion picks up all of the best features of Deluxe Paint and adds extra fuctionality. I'd say if you want to build pixel based games or simple animations, ProMotion is a strong contender, regardless of resolution.
