Problem with IIS 5.0 on Win 2000 Server

My current webserver is a Win 2000 Server running IIS 5.0, I have maybe 20 different sites on the server but every once in a while one particular site just crashes for no reason. All the other sites on the machine work fine while this site is down. When I restart IIS it works fine again, but recently this has started to happen a little to often.

If anyone knows what may be causing this I'd really appreciate your thoughts

There's obviously something unique about that particular site, either something in the code for it or something about how it's setup. There may be something in the errors on the clients that can help, make sure you have 'Show Friendly HTTP Errors' turned of on an IE client and try connecting after it's crashed. There may also be something in the event logs. Failing that try and duplicate the server on another machine, see if you can duplicate that particular site crashing and play around with the IIS setup and site code till you have it fixed, if you're the only one accessing this duplicate server you should have a better idea of what's going on when it crashes.

I presume you have all the latest OS and IIS patches installed ?

Edit: btw there's a webmaster forum here, they'll probably be able to provide some better help.
